In 2022 Joyce M. Fischer, a certified appraiser, will be present at the Celebration of Quilts conducting appraisals on newly made and vintage/antique quilts as well as woven coverlets.
Joyce Morici Fischer is an award-winning quilter, collector, educator and judge. In addition. she is an American Quilters Society, Certified Quilt Appraiser of antique quilts, contemporary quilts, and art quilts, as well as new and other quilted textiles. Joyce has appraised for historical societies, and private collectors, on a national and international basis, as well as at local, state and national quilt shows. She offers written appraisals for insurance, fair market and donation values. She holds memberships in the following quilt related organizations: American Quilters Society, Professional Association of Appraisers of Quilts/Quilted Textiles, National Quilt Museum Friend, National Quilt Association, American Quilt Study Group, Studio Art Quilt Associates, Baltimore Applique Society, Red Rose Quilt Guild, and Empire Quilters Guild. Joyce is available to travel to any area to appraise. Appraisals will be by appointment on Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30, 2020. Walk-ins are welcome to schedule appointments during the two show days. Payment can be made by check or by cash. Sorry, but no credit cards taken. |
